Patient Care Philosophy:

“I like the "less is more" and "treat the patient, not the disease" approach. I like to treat the underlying cause of the patient's symptoms instead of prescribing medications to treat symptoms. Every patient is different, so I find it is important to listen to the patient and not treat every patient the same, even though they may have the same diagnoses.”

Hoai Nguyen, PA-C is a physician assistant with experience in family medicine and urgent care. He is an established member of Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants as well as American Academy of Physician Assistant and is passionate about his community. Coming from a similar background as most of the patients, he know how hard it is to get access to care; that is why he continues his practice while making sure others are provided the same opportunity. He joined Variety Care’s provider team because he enjoys seeing patients of all ages, but more importantly, his passion aligns with Variety Care’s mission to provide accessible and affordable healthcare to all patients in Oklahoma. Some things he loves doing in his free time include spending quality time with family and friends as well as working out or fishing - though you'll find him playing basketball on most weekends.
