Variety Care Adds Three New Health Care Providers to Expand Access

Oklahoma City, OK – Variety Care has welcomed three new medical providers to their family medicine and women’s health teams. All providers are accepting new patients now at Variety Care clinic sites in Oklahoma City and Norman.

Kimberly Bittle, PA-C, received her bachelor’s degree in biology in 2010 from Cameron University in Lawton, OK. In 2017, Bittle found a new passion for family medicine while attending the Physician Associate Program at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center College of Medicine. She completed her studies after receiving a master’s in health science.

“As a child I had an overwhelming need to help anyone that crossed my path,” Bittle said. “This passion to help those in need continued to grow as I matured and solidified my love for the health care profession. I am honored to be given this opportunity to join a team of health care professionals that share in my same goals for providing quality, compassionate, and affordable health care to those most in need.”

Daisy Carlson, ARNP, attended the University of Oklahoma where she received her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2007. She attended Graceland University’s Nurse Practitioner Program in Independence, MO, where she received her master’s in nursing in 2013. Carlson is passionate about helping patients garner the tools needed to live full, healthy lives.

“I enjoy taking care of people, educating and empowering them. I also enjoy involving patients in the medical process, so they can take part in their overall health,” Carlson said. “I am passionate about working with the underserved and Hispanic community. My mom is an immigrant and financial burdens and language barriers impeded her access to quality medical care. I know this is an issue that many of our patients face.”

Leslie Lodes, PA-C, holds a bachelor’s degree in human development and family sciences from Oklahoma State University. Lodes obtained her master’s degree in health science from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2019. Lodes is eager to begin her career in family medicine with Variety Care.

“I enjoy connecting my patients with medical and social resources to help them better manage their health,” Lodes said. “Variety Care helps bring pride and dignity back to community members in need.”
