Patient Assistance Program
Variety Care’s Patient Assistance Program provides help to patients with low-income who cannot afford their medication and have no form of prescription drug coverage as well as those who are uninsured or underinsured.
If you cannot afford your medical or dental visits, you may be eligible for Medicaid or Medicare, depending on your household size, income and age. Variety Care's Certified Application Counselors are available to answer your questions and aid in the enrollment process at no cost to you.
If you cannot afford the prescription medications you need for a chronic medical condition such as diabetes or COPD, you may be eligible for assistance programs offered by pharmaceutical companies. In these programs, we help our patients with the entire application process to ensure that the patients who qualify can be approved as soon as possible. Once approved, patients can receive free medication for one year, with the possibility to reapply the following year if they still qualify.
Not all drug manufacturers offer a program, and each company who does offer a program sets their own guidelines, application process, and rules; however, requirements for most companies include income guidelines and proof of no prescription insurance. Variety Care does not make the final determination on who qualifies for any program – the final decision is made by the pharmaceutical company who is offering the program.
If you believe you may be eligible for this program, please talk with your provider so they can refer you or call us at (405) 632 - 6688.
