Variety Care Adds Three New Health Care Providers
Oklahoma City, OK – Variety Care is proud to welcome three new providers to their women’s health and family medicine departments. New providers are expanding access to quality, affordable health care across three Variety Care locations.
Gloria Ayisi, APRN, CNP, is a family medicine provider with a passion for helping the underserved. After earning her bachelor’s in nursing from Oklahoma City University in 2007, she continued her education and received her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2013.
“It’s been a dream to be part of the Variety Care team and culture,” Ayisi says. “A culture that embraces every ethnic background and diversity and is dedicated to helping the underserved population afford healthcare.”
Ayisi is now accepting patients at Variety Care Norman Himes.
Mariel Hidalgo, APRN, CNP, is a family medicine provider who strives to make a positive impact on the communities that need it the most. After earning her bachelor’s in nursing from Southern Nazarene University in 2018, she continued her education and received her Master in Family Nursing Practice from Maryville University in 2022.
“It has always been my passion to serve my community,” Hidalgo says. “Variety care gives me that opportunity.”
Hidalgo is now accepting patients at Variety Care Straka.
Alexis Shelton, APRN, FNP-C, is a women’s health provider who loves working with women through all stages of life. After obtaining her bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, she continued her education and received her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2019.
“I strive to take the time to listen to the concerns of my patients and communicate with them throughout the process of their care,” Shelton says.
Shelton is now accepting patients at Variety Care Straka and Norman Alameda.
