Variety Care Expands Access to Seniors Through Hiring of New Provider
(July 31, 202 - Oklahoma City, OK) Variety Care expands access to Oklahoma City’s elder population through the hiring of a new senior wellness provider. Bency Sony, APRN, is accepting patients now at the Northcare Pete White and Wellness Center, 4021 S Walker Ave. Sony is providing care to adult patients, 60-years-old and over.
Sony received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2008. She continued her education and received her master’s in nursing with a specialization in family nurse practitioner in 2017. Sony has over 10 years of nursing experience, dedicating the beginning of her RN career to patients with cardiac conditions.
“My passion has always been in the health profession,” she said. “As a Variety Care Provider, I look forward to making a difference in the lives of my patients by helping them remove barriers to care and safely guiding them towards quality, affordable solutions in Oklahoma’s health care system.”
Variety Care has a long-standing commitment to providing care to patients at every stage of life. The Federally-Qualified Community Health Center is keeping vulnerable populations safe during the pandemic by limiting in-person visits. With telehealth, patients can safely visit their medical provider on a phone, tablet, or smartphone.
