Variety Care Names Director of Pediatrics

Oklahoma City, OK – Variety Care, Oklahoma’s premier community health center, proudly announces the appointment of Dr. Amanda Martin as its Director of Pediatrics. With a distinguished career spanning over a decade, Dr. Martin brings a wealth of expertise and a commitment to advancing pediatric care.

A board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Martin earned her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2010 and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences in 2013. Having joined Variety Care in 2013, she has demonstrated unwavering dedication, steadily climbing the ranks to assume the role of Pediatric Team Lead in 2020. Dr. Martin has played a pivotal role in various youth-centric initiatives, such as Healthy Expectations, Teen Task Force, and Reach Out and Read.

Dr. Martin succeeds Dr. Jason Graham, who recently ascended to the position of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at Variety Care. Dr. Graham expressed confidence in Dr. Martin's ability to lead, stating, “Dr. Martin has been an integral part of the pediatric team, previously functioning as our pediatric lead, and will transition seamlessly into the Director role. Her enthusiasm and passion for our mission will help an already strong team continue to grow!”
