“My philosophy is that providers have a responsibility to provide empathetic, competent, compassionate patient-centered care to the best of their ability. I personally strive to provide nonjudgmental care to those in need regardless of race, lifestyle, financial status, disability, cultural and spiritual beliefs, or lifestyle choices.”
Daisy Carlson, APRN-CNP is a women’s health and family nurse practitioner that is dedicated to providing excellent health care to patients by serving with compassion. She is a member of the Association of Oklahoma Nurse Practitioners and American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is board certified in family medicine. Daisy values developing a trusting relationship with her patients. She firmly believes that patients who have a good relationship and effective communication with their providers are more satisfied with their care. As a member of the Variety Care provider team, she is passionate about working with many patients, including the Hispanic Community. She personally understands the language barriers and financial burdens that can impede access to quality healthcare, so she hopes to help others that may face these issues. During her free time, Daisy enjoys traveling, spending quality time with her family, and serving in medical mission trips.
